It’s so fun celebrating love and friendship!
But it can also be a really difficult day for people who:
are single for the first time in a long time
have always been single
are married and separated
are married or in a relationship but are feeling lonely
Those are a lot of different circumstances, but they all boil down to one thing: feeling alone.
Can you believe Thanksgiving is only a week away??
We usually double dip on Thanksgiving. We go to my husband’s aunt’s house, and then also go to my mom’s afterwards. It gets a bit crazy and tiring, but it’s awesome that we get to see so much of our family all in one day!
This year I’m bringing dessert to our aunt’s gathering, so I decided to try out a new recipe.
after many many weeks (if not months) of acting like a total jerk to my husband (we have a crazy marriage story in case you’re wondering, but are still together and moving forward, PRAISE GOD!), I thought this might be a helpful challenge.
As much as I feel justified in pointing fingers towards my husband, or blaming him for the ways he may have hurt me, I KNOW I need to take responsibility for my own actions and attitude.
I hope you’ll consider joining me…
You GUYS! She Laughs and Letters has been featured in some really cool places!
I’m talking about ABC, NBC, The CW, FOX, Telemundo (the Latina in me smiled at that one!) and the Daily Herald!
A while back I had the opportunity to do the seating chart for a romantic, rustic wedding at Thalatta Estate in Palmetto Bay, Florida.
This seating chart was done on a clear acrylic board with white lettering, and was then placed on a black easel and framed by simple, yet classy green leaves.
After my recommendation, the bride chose to go with an alphabetical arrangement of names on the seating chart, instead of organizing the names by table number.
Why is this a better option?
